1764 Public House Offering Complimentary Cocktails to LouFest Ticket Holders

First they took our team, then they took our festival, but they’ll never take our spirits!

1764 Public House in St. Louis’ Central West End is opening its doors and offering a complimentary cocktail to all 2018 LouFest ticket holders on Sunday, Sept. 9. The year-old bar/restaurant was slated to participate in its first LouFest this weekend, as part of the Fizz & Folly cocktail area.

“Like so many others, we are sad and disappointed to hear of the LouFest cancellation,” owner Derek Gamlin says. “At 1764 Public House, we always look for opportunities to celebrate St. Louis, its history, its culture and its people — we even named our restaurant after the year of our city’s founding.

“St. Louisans do such a great job of rallying behind local brands, which is one of the many things that make us so proud to call this city home. We raise our glass to all the individuals looking for ways they can support the businesses impacted by this last-minute announcement, and offer a free drink as a token of our gratitude.”

All 2018 LouFest ticket holders ages 21 and up can bring their wristbands to 1764 Public House (39 N. Euclid Ave., St. Louis, MO 63108) from 9 a.m. to midnight Sunday, Sept. 9. After showing their wristband, individuals will receive a hand stamp and a complimentary cocktail featuring any Luxco spirit, courtesy of St. Louis-based Luxco and Gamlin Restaurant Group.

Signature 1764 Public House cocktails featuring Luxco include the Root Beer Milk Punch, as well as any cocktail made with the restaurant’s 1764 Pub El Mayor Reposado Single Barrel Tequila.
