“Developing this concept has given us a chance to learn more about the incredible history of St. Louis and how much our culture was influenced by New Orleans. 1764 Public House is going to bring this story to life, and honor the resurgence of our city,” Gamlin Restaurant Group Proprietor Lucas Gamlin says.
The menus were developed by Proprietors Derek and Lucas Gamlin and Executive Chef Ryan Cooper. Dinner options include three versions of tableside gumbo, a sampling of St. Louis-style pizzas, New Orleans and St. Louis style toasted ravioli and entrees, and beignets for dessert. For breakfast and lunch, guests can enjoy innovative Breakfast in Bread dishes, which bring favorite flavors together in a homemade bread bowl, as well as po’ boys, salads, sandwiches and à la carte breakfast items. Each day items such as baked goods, pasta, sauces and seasonings will be made from scratch in-house.
“In developing the menus we wanted to make sure they were approachable and offered something new to the neighborhood. The fare at 1764 Public House is going to make it a great gathering spot for St. Louis,” Gamlin Restaurant Group Proprietor Derek Gamlin says.
From the bar, guests can experience cocktails featuring four different hand-selected single barrel spirits: Cardinal Sin Vodka, J. Rieger Gin, Jim Beam Bourbon and El Mayor Repsado Tequila, a variety of spritzes and mules, beer and wine will also be available. Derek and Lucas Gamlin, along with Gamlin Restaurant Group Corporate Bar Manager Dustin Parres, developed the cocktail program.
